About Door64 and the Door64 Candidate Network
Founded in 2007 by Matt Genovese, Door64 is the largest high-tech networking community in Austin and Central Texas. Over 18,000 technology professionals and a melting pot of tech companies are represented, from the big guys to start-ups. Door64 is all about serving local tech professionals and companies, helping them to become more well-connected while promoting our Austin & Central Texas high-tech scene.
The Door64 Candidate Network (DCN) was created to facilitate employment-related introductions between Austin-area professionals and companies.
The goal is simple: Make the introductions easier, faster and more cost-effective than large job boards and costly recruiting firms. We are forming a cooperative between Austin-area candidates and companies and improve the recruiting and hiring process.
